P.C. Richard & Son Launches Innovative Retail Experience for Small Appliance Category In-store
In-Store Experience, an award-winning retail design firm, was recently chosen to design a best-in-class shopping experience for the small appliance category for P.C. Richard & Son—due to be installed across all stores by October 2019.
P.C. Richard & Son recognized the need for an inviting, innovative in-store design to appeal to today’s consumer. In-Store Experience worked to build a welcoming and streamlined experience for the category that is coherent with the brand’s recent store redesign and new retail branding initiatives.
Using warm wood, soft lighting, and a kitchen-style layout, In-Store Experience provided a modern and visually-pleasing solution. Updated island displays now provide floor space for an increased variety of products, getting appliances out of boxes and available for a hands-on shopping experience. An updated back wall shelving structure made of warm wood and decorative lattice panels is enhanced by brushed aluminum wall sconces. It also complements the island fixtures, creating a cohesive and welcoming kitchen-like feel. A rear illuminated interchangeable graphic panel promotes supported brands, while LED lights showcase featured products on shelves below. A modular-focused fixture design makes the floor space versatile, able to expand and contract as each store location requires—providing an easily scalable solution.
